Why TECC- Tactical Emergency Casualty Care?

With roots developed in evidence-based combat medicine, TECC presents the three phases of tactical casualty care and integrates nomenclature familiar to civilian EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement. TECC is oriented to the civilian tactical medical and non-medical provider, is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus (I, II, III and IV), the C-TECC standards, and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
